Hotel Maxim belongs to the cultural attractions of Marianske Lazne. At the turn of 1923 and 1924, the world famous Russian writer Maxim Gorky was undergoing treatment at the hotel. In 2004, the hotel was reconstructed, the 4th floor was added, furniture was renewed, its own balneological center with a swimming pool was built and a multipurpose salon was implemented.
